When you are caring for a family member or friend who uses a wheelchair or other mobility aid, it's important that you learn specific skills, so that you can protect the person and yourself from injury.
This program makes it easy for you to gain the skills you need. As you watch other caregivers perform wheelchair maneuvers, you will learn how to avoid common mistakes that caregivers make when assisting someone in a wheelchair and will understand how to do transfers correctly.
